TERMS OF SERVICE
Terms of Service
Last updated: June 4, 2026
By accessing or using Codron you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. About Codron
Codron is an async mission control tool that drives the Claude Code command line (or a compatible agent runtime) against repositories on your own machine. It coordinates engagements, escalates decisions, and tracks orders across your projects. Codron is operated by Viva Technologies Lab, LLC, a United States limited liability company.
2. Eligibility and Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Codron. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed these terms.
- You sign in using Google or GitHub. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the underlying provider account and for any activity that occurs on your Codron account.
- One account per person. Don't share accounts or attempt to circumvent plan limits with multiple accounts.
3. Plans, Billing, and Cancellation
- The Free plan allows one project on one machine. The Pro plan lifts both limits.
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. Charges renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from the in-app billing portal. Your plan remains active through the end of the current billing period, and no further charges occur.
- Fees are non refundable except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review the case.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days notice. Existing subscribers will be informed by email or in the dashboard.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Codron to attack, compromise, or interfere with systems you do not own or have permission to test
- Use Codron to generate, distribute, or facilitate illegal or abusive content
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source from the desktop or web client beyond what applicable law allows
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools against our cloud endpoints outside of normal product usage
- Resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize access to Codron without a separate written agreement
5. Your Code, Your Responsibility
Codron executes code changes against repositories you point it at, and can optionally commit and push those changes. You are responsible for:
- Reviewing diffs before they ship to production, regardless of any auto-commit or auto-push configuration you choose to enable
- Backups, version control hygiene, and any deployment that follows from a Codron engagement
- The cost and usage of the underlying model provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or otherwise). You bring your own subscription or API key. We do not mark up token costs and we do not pay model bills on your behalf.
6. Third-Party Services
Codron relies on third-party services including Supabase, Stripe, Vercel, Google, GitHub, Anthropic, OpenAI, and (optionally) Telegram. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or data handling decisions made by these providers. Each operates under its own terms.
7. Intellectual Property
The Codron name, logo, desktop application, web client, and backend services are owned by Viva Technologies Lab, LLC. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you. Code you write inside your own repositories remains yours.
8. Disclaimers
Codron is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for any particular purpose. Output produced by the underlying AI models may contain errors, including incorrect code, security flaws, or hallucinated information. You are responsible for evaluating output before acting on it.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Viva Technologies Lab, LLC and its officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of Codron, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, code, or production deployments. Our total liability for any direct damages will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Codron in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred United States dollars.
10. Modifications and Termination
- We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Codron at any time. We will give meaningful notice for changes that materially reduce existing functionality.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
- You can terminate your account at any time by emailing contact@vivatechlab.com. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data on termination.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Viva Technologies Lab, LLC is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be announced in the dashboard or by email before they take effect. Continued use of Codron after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
